Office Support
Bethany is looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate professional to join our office team!
Full-time entry level position available in our beautiful Greentree office. Recent college graduates with bachelor's degree in social work or healthcare administration are encouraged to apply. Preference given to candidates with medical office experience/ internships. Hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm.
This position will provide administrative and computer support to the clinical team with job duties to assist in volunteer management, bereavement, meeting minutes and patient care coordination. Learn all the facets of hospice care from the office perspective and support the office team in providing excellent care to the dying and their families. Strong computer skills in Microsoft and healthcare EMR experience required.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Community Organizing, Healthcare Administration or related field or equivalent related experience (preferred).
One year experience, including internship(s) in medical office setting (preferred).
Ability to organize and develop volunteer personnel for patient and organizational needs.
Ability to support a group of individuals acting in a volunteer capacity.
Ability to develop, coordinate, implement and evaluate hospice services including recruitment, training, placement, and retention of volunteers and all administrative responsibilities.
Ability to learn and navigate electronic medical records, run reports, prepare quality studies and data entry.
Must be computer literate with strong Microsoft Office skills.
Must have experience working with office equipment such as fax machines, scanning, printing and/or telephones.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret written material relating to healthcare, including technical procedures and governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and present information.
Knowledge and commitment to hospice philosophy, principles of death & dying. (We can help you with this part!)
Assist with clerical support for the bereavement program for the loved ones of patients that have passed.
Demonstrate excellent observation and communication skills.
Compliance with accepted professional standards and practices.
Ability to work in an interdisciplinary setting.
Ability to provide good written documentation in a timely manner.
Satisfactory references from employers and/or professional peers.
Satisfactory criminal background check.
Valid driver’s license and an automobile that is insured is accordance with state law and is in good working order.
Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.

Salary range: $35,000 - $45,000 per year
