Hospice Aide / Patient Care Tech
If you are looking for an aide position that gives you the time to do the care each patient needs, hospice is for you!
Candidates with experience as a PCT or Med Tech encouraged to apply. Full-time, daylight hours. Weekend hours also available.
The Bethany Hospice Aides are part of a team of nurses, CNAs, social workers, chaplains, and volunteers that work together to provide for the needs of our patients and families. The hospice aide will travel from one patient location to another to provide care in patient residences and senior communities throughout the Pittsburgh area.
Full-time benefits available with only 30 hours per week. No mandatory overtime, no mandated shift coverage. Full benefits at a reasonable cost, paid holidays, paid vacation, and we pay for your time as you travel between visits. Plus, we have an amazing team that appreciates you!

Qualifications
Minimum of one-year direct patient care experience. Hospice experience preferred.
Understanding of hospice philosophy and the needs of the terminally ill. (We can help you with this one)
Valid driver’s license and an automobile that is insured in accordance with state requirements.
Satisfactory criminal background check.
Two step TB test or equivalent as accepted by CDC.
Flexible and cooperative in fulfilling all obligations.
Desire to be part of the best hospice team in western Pennsylvania.
