Bethany is seeking a Part-time Spiritual Care Coordinator to provide spiritual and emotional support, comfort, and compassionate presence to patients and families when it matters most.

Qualifications
Graduate of accredited seminary or school of theology (B.D., M.Div. or equivalent theological degree), or a degree in counseling, or equivalent experience. Prefer at least 2 CPE units.
Experience with families/caregivers and patients, death and dying.
Comfort in an interfaith setting.
Ability to accept different lifestyles, cultures, beliefs and values.
Ability to network with community clergy and congregations.
Vehicle, driver’s license and car insurance
Understanding of hospice philosophy and the needs of the terminally ill
Compliance with accepted professional standards and practices
Ability to work in an interdisciplinary setting
Satisfactory references from employers and/or professional peers
Satisfactory criminal background check
Presentation of negative TB test or CXR as required by state law
Demonstrate good judgement and excellent observation and communication skills
Ability to provide good written documentation in a timely manner
Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision
Flexible and cooperative in fulfilling all obligations
